Jenny Hall

For the last eight years I have been based in Osaka, Japan, but have recently returned to Australia. I began my photographic career as a darkroom technician and in-house photographer for Bonhams antique auction house in London. I held my first solo exhibition, Images of the Silk Road , in April 2003, and my second, Faces of the Silk Road , in May 2004. As a member of the Kansai International Photographers' Association, I have taken part in three group exhibitions, PEACEworks, (November and December 2005), SLOW, (June 2006) and PEACEworks II (October 2007).

I am currently a Contributing Editor for Kyoto Journal (http://www.kyotojournal.org/) and was the Travel Editor for Kansai Time Out (http://www.kto.co.jp) from October 2004 to February 2007.
